My name is Elitsa and I am the founder of the BOHO brand.

This is the story of BOHO!

The first line I created I called BOHO Handmade.
When I got pregnant with my first child, I just couldn’t trust any cosmetic brand and since I’ve always loved chemistry and had an affinity for aromatherapy for a while, I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I took all the courses I could get my hands on, including a two-year course in Clinical Aromatherapy, I downloaded textbooks in Bulgarian and English, read scientific papers, articles, research and generally did some self-study to have a starting point.
Subsequently, I also enrolled in a master’s program to validate my knowledge and fill in the gaps I had in it.

Our home became a kind of laboratory, and soon after I was working in a real one. Since there are countless cosmetic products, trends and trends in cosmetics – one can easily get lost in their infatuation, so I decided to focus on what I am best at and have the most experience in – oils.

I love to learn, read, and go deeper;
Our family business is related to processing oil crops and producing one of the highest quality oils in the world, and it is located next to my own production.
Clinical aromatherapy gives me the knowledge I need to combine essential oils and achieve a certain effect.

I have worked with several massage therapists and they have repeatedly asked me to make them a massage blend as they are not satisfied with the ones they use. However, it hadn’t occurred to me that this was exactly the area where I could be most useful.

And so, using his experience and knowledge, a few years after the creation of BOHO Handmade, the professional line of products – BOHO PROfessional – began to live its own life .
