The BOHO PRO project won 1st place in the Local Entrepreneurs Academy 2023.
“A total of 46 teams applied with ideas for the Local Entrepreneurs Academy in 2023. 26 were selected for the next stage, an online interview, and 15 teams were selected to participate in the training. Over three consecutive weekends, the entrepreneurs attended lectures and exercises, learning business knowledge and strategies to put into practice. The teams discussed their ideas, got to know each other and became part of the growing community of the Local Entrepreneurs Academy.
After the trainings and consultations with mentors, the 15 teams developed business plans which they presented to the jury at the Grand Final. Zhivka Popatanasova, part of the bTV News team, hosted the awards ceremony and the seven-member jury had the difficult task of determining the winners.
The jury was composed of Elitsa Barakova, Executive Director of BCause Foundation, Dilyana Yakova, Manager of Regulations and Sustainable Development at Philip Morris Bulgaria, Martina Grigorova, Executive Director of SIS Credit, Tsvetan Filev, Chairman of the National Association of Tobacco Growers, Veselin Dimitrov, Editorial Director of Forbes Bulgaria, Denitsa Sokolova, Project Manager at Darik Radio and Zdravko Markov, Founder and CEO of Lemark Invest Ltd.
The BOHO PRO project from Silistra is the big winner this year with a prize of 12 000 BGN. Elitsa Petrova offers a professional series of all-natural oils for massage therapists to work more comfortably and efficiently to make their clients’ experience not only useful but also very pleasant. “
